TSP Head Insert – Suits KTM85SX and Husky TC85 2018-on 12 Degree

*** This is a 12 degree style – Must be used with 12 degree pistons ***

You will receive one complete cylinder head insert to suit a KTM85SX or Husky TC85 from 2018-on. This head is also supplied with 2 base gaskets which are required to be fitted together under the cylinder in order to achieve the necessary cylinder height and correct squish clearance.

This 12 degree kit is slightly more refined and offers more performance over our standard 85 head kit

Our combustion chamber designs have been used by thousands of happy customers and have been extensively dyno tested… the gains are consistent and include: increased power throughout the rev range, improved fuel economy, greatly reduced risk of detonation, improved engine life, and much smoother power delivery. We also have a large number of riders reporting much cooler running temps under normal riding conditions.

The unique billet design has been 100% developed and tested in-house by TSP in Australia.

The customer takes all responsibility for ensuring that their engine setup is appropriate for their riding style and conditions

This insert can be used with the stock cap design.

This head is available with the following combustion chamber option:

HIGH COMPRESSION: This combustion chamber design is higher compression than stock and requires a thicker base gasket stack than stock to achieve the correct squish clearance (base gaskets are supplied). It is suited to 98 RON fuel near sea level with appropriate jetting. It gives a very noticeable increase to power throughout the rev range, resulting in much better pull out of corners, improved starts off the line and faster speeds down the straights.

Riders who want maximum performance above what this head offers should consider fitting our Power Kit which also includes a TSP ignition and Scalvini pipe. This package turns the stock 85 into a weapon and matches many ‘ported’ engines for overall performance.
